RUBICON 2024 will take place March 22-24.
The route will connect the two capitals - from Chisinau to Bucharest, passing through Oancea customs. The start is scheduled at PMAN and the finish at National Rugby Stadium "Arcul de Triumf"

Registration will last until March 24 inclusive. Participants will be able to purchase additional stages during the race itself.

After registration and payment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your participation in the race to the e-mail address you provided during registration.

The participation fee depends on the number of stages chosen.
1 stage - 200 MDL
2-5 stages - 450 MDL
6-10 stages - 550 MDL
11-15 stages - 650 MDL
16+ stages - 850 MDL
The bus fare is paid separately and costs 1200 MDL.

Participants can change their registration (change of participant, update of personal data, but not of stages) at least 30 days before the event date.

To make changes, the following information is required:
From the slot holder – OrderID, first and last name, date of birth, phone number, e-mail.
From the person to whom the slot is transferred – first and last name, date of birth, phone number, e-mail.

Changes are made online by writing a letter to event@sporter.md, or by physical presence at the Sporter office, 28/1 Calea Orheiului St., 2nd floor.

If the registered person cancels or is unable to participate, no refund of the participation fee is possible.
It is only allowed to replace a competitor with another competitor, but no later than 30 days before the event date.

The results will be published on the https://rubicon.run/ website under the "Results" section after the end of the race.

The minimum indivisible distance a participant can cover. The length of a stage varies between 6 km and 15 km. Each stage has a name. For example, UN8 is the eighth stage which takes place in the Ungheni district.

If during the race the participant wants to change the chosen stages, they can do so at any time, as registration on the website is preliminary in order to determine the number of stages.
If during the race the participant wants to complete more stages than declared at registration, they can always "purchase" the number of stages at the mobile check-in car.
Please note! If the participant declares a certain number of stages that they cannot complete, the participation fee is not refundable!

Each competitor must undergo the registration procedure before the start of each chosen stage.
– In order to register the start, it is necessary to scan the chip wristband at the mobile check-in car.
– The mobile check-in car moves from stage to stage waiting for the column.
You can scan the chip at least 15 minutes before the start and no later than 15 minutes after the start.
Each participant is expected to move with the column at an average pace of 6:30 min/km. Competitors are not allowed to stop, use vehicles or overtake the column during the stage.
After completing the stage, the competitor must register the finish by scanning the chip wristband at the mobile check-in car.
After finishing the stage, the competitor receives a badge with the coat of arms of the district where they ran. If the competitor finishes later than 15 minutes after the deadline, the stage shall not be considered completed and the competitor shall not receive a badge for that stage.

The organizers have provided a coach to accompany the participants throughout the RUBICON race route. The coach will accommodate the participants for the entire duration of the race (three days).
The coach bus fare is 1200 MDL per person and it includes:
- Transportation to the race start.
- Escort along the race route.
- Transportation from the finish line back to Chisinau.
- Access to an electric kettle and a microwave oven.
- Hot and cold drinking water.
- Medical kit.
- Tea/coffee.
- Assistance of two managers throughout the race.

For one or more stages completed in a district, the competitor receives a badge with the district coat of arms.
Badges are divided into "day" and "night" depending on the time of day the stage is completed.
Achievement badges for specific fulfilled criteria.
For every 100 km covered, the participant receives an additional "RUBICON" badge.
The race winner will receive a board for the badge collection, the Winner's Cup, a diploma and gifts from the partners.

Between stages, while the participant column runs the route, the bus heads straight to the finish of the current stage, which is also the start of the next stage. In the bus is a toilet, but for your comfort, usually, transit points are located near gas stations, cafes, etc., allowing us to use toilets. If necessary, the bus can urgently head to the nearest gas station. In 6 editions, there have never been difficulties with this issue.

Yes, exactly. If you finish with a maximum delay of 15 minutes according to the plan, it will be considered a successful completion of the stage, and you will receive the area medal.

Yes, there are still available seats on the bus. However, we recommend not delaying the registration until the last moment.

The date and time are fixed. No calendar changes are planned. The event will take place from March 22 to March 24.
